ETC is the largest network of public theatres in Europe, with close to 50 theatres representing 25 European countries, among which Staatsschauspiel Dresden. ETC promotes European theatre as a public space for an open society. ETC has been a partner of Fast Forward since 2011. As part of their prize, the winner of this year’s Fast Forward Festival will be invited to join ETC’s next International Theatre Conference in Prague in May 2022, thus offering them further occasions to present their work to leading European theatres. ETC also offers multiple opportunities for emerging theatre artists. During this Fast Forward edition, ETC's alumni - more than 100 theatre artists from all over Europe - will attend the festival's online programme for the first time and exchange with each other and with festival curator Charlotte Orti von Havranek about challenges and opportunities for young theatre makers in Europe in a post-Covid world.
