Fast Forward

Streaming, paywall, chat or digital parties – we explain everything you need to know this year for visiting Fast Forward online. We introduce the platforms the festival or the artists will use, provide information on data protection and what you should look out for currently when navigating through our festival programme. By 4th November at the latest, you will find complete information on all the formats that require a special introduction or preparation on this page. But basically it’s the same online as any theatre visit: you buy or reserve a ticket, arrive punctually at the theatre and then wait a bit in the foyer until the doors are opened. Except that this year you can do that both live in Dresden itself or from anywhere in the world online.

BUYING TICKETS There are two different ticket systems for visiting the shows live in Dresden and online in live stream. Tickets cost €11 for all events live in Dresden and €7 for those entitled to reduced price tickets. For the live streams and the online productions, you need a day pass for €5 or a festival pass for €15, which is then valid for all four festival days.
DER VERLAUF by Studio Beisel is free as well as in general all the events in the Fast Forward supporting programme.

In order to be able to watch the LIVE STREAM of the productions from the stages in Dresden and the ONLINE PRODUCTIONS, you need a day pass, which you can book via the paywall directly on the live stream page. Alternatively, instead of the day passes, you can also buy a festival pass for €15, which is then valid for all four festival days. You can also find the link to the paywall on every production page in the festival programme.

FOR THE SHOWS IN DRESDEN in the Kleines Haus and in Hellerau, you can buy tickets from the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. On every production page, you can find the link to the Staatsschauspiel Dresden webshop. You can also buy tickets in person at the ticket selling points at Staatsschauspiel Dresden. If you buy a ticket for a festival show in Dresden you will also be given a SPECIAL REDUCTION for the online day pass for that day. You will receive a code that you can then redeem online in the paywall.

PLEASE NOTE: all events, whether live or online, will actually take place at the time given. Buying digital tickets or late admission is possible at any time. But there will no repeats of the streams and no archive of the shows!
